Wilkins RV, a family-owned dealership serving New York RVers for more than 90 years, has added 2026 Class B motorhomes to its inventory lineup at the Waterloo location in Seneca County.
Located at 1625 NY-318 in Waterloo, the dealership provides sales, service, and parts support. Wilkins RV carries new and used units from more than 80 brands, including travel trailers, fifth wheels, and Class A, B, and C motorhomes.
The availability of the 2026 Grand Design Lineage V LVT1 corresponds with increased interest in Class B motorhomes or Van Campers. This model uses a Ford Transit AWD chassis with a 3.5L V6 GTDi engine that produces 310 horsepower and 400 ft-lb of torque. It has a 148-inch wheelbase, overall length of 20 feet 11 inches, GVWR of 9,950 lbs, and fresh water capacity of 34 gallons.
Compared to prior model years in similar Class B categories, the 2026 version incorporates manufacturer updates focused on power systems and interior functionality. Standard features include 360 watts of solar power, Starlink preparation, a 51V Lithionics battery system, and double-pane acrylic windows. An available pop-top expands headroom and sleeping capacity. The interior includes a 54" x 80" flip-up Murphy-style bed, 12V drawer-style refrigerator, undermount cooktop, and rainfall showerhead.
General Manager Denise Haggerty shared observations on certain models in the Class B category. When asked about the benefits of the camper, she stated, “The pop top increases headroom, convenience, and flexibility in a Class B motorhome. This coach offers solar power, Starlink connectivity, and off-grid features.”
MSRP for the 2026 Grand Design Lineage Series VT LVT1 typically starts in the $206,000 range, with final pricing depending on options and configuration. As a new model year release, units are becoming available through dealer orders and incoming inventory in spring 2026.
Wilkins RV was founded in the 1950s and operates with values of fairness, honesty, and respect. The Waterloo location is part of a multi-site network across New York. The dealership maintains an indoor showroom and uses online tools to assist shoppers. Service technicians handle maintenance, including oil changes, appliance repairs, electrical work, winterization, de-winterization, and body repairs. The parts department stocks accessories to support customization.
Class B motorhomes continue to appeal to RVers who seek a balance of mobility and self-sufficiency. For residents in the Finger Lakes region, these models support trips to local parks or longer excursions. The 2026 model year follows broader industry trends in energy management and interior design.
The dealership offers financing options and trade-in assessments as part of the sales process. Post-sale support helps owners with ongoing maintenance needs.
Wilkins RV’s consultative sales approach involves listening to customer goals and matching them with suitable RVs from the available selection. The family-owned business has sustained operations for over three generations by focusing on customer relationships and community involvement.
As the travel season approaches, interest in newer RV models often increases. The 2026 Lineage V LVT1 represents one example of current offerings in the compact motorhome segment. Potential buyers can review specifications and features through the dealership.
