SIX BIRDS THEORY ALIAS REPOSITORY: WORD-BANK SWAPS FOR “BIRDS”
WHAT THIS DOCUMENT IS
This document collects single-word substitutes for the word “Birds” in Six Birds Theory. When authors refer to the framework’s six components generically, they may write “six operators,” “six primitives,” “six mechanisms,” or simply “six factors” — replacing only the noun while keeping the numeral. This document lists every such one-word swap identified in the alias dataset compiled for Tsiokos (2026).
WHY THIS EXISTS
The word “birds” in Six Birds Theory is a metaphorical label for the framework’s six primitives. Different disciplines naturally substitute their own preferred generic noun: physicists might say “forces,” computer scientists might say “operators,” and management theorists might say “pillars.” This crosswalk ensures that any single-word substitution can be traced back to the canonical reference.
COMMON ALIASES
Representative swap words include operators, primitives, mechanisms, factors, operations, forces, axes, laws, moves, parts, rules, steps, blocks, stages, drivers, grammar, modules, and pillars.
