Pence Law Firm, PLLC, Welcomes Veteran Environmental Attorney Marc C. Bryson
CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Pence Law Firm, PLLC, a full-service law firm based in Charleston serving clients throughout West Virginia, announced that experienced environmental attorney Marc C. Bryson has joined the firm as partner.
Bryson comes to Pence Law Firm after nearly two decades with Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, where he concentrated his practice in environmental law and administrative law and led the firm’s Environmental Team. He regularly advises industrial, chemical, municipal, coal, and oil and gas clients on permitting and regulatory requirements for water and wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, air emissions, and other complex environmental matters.

Bryson has represented clients before a wide range of administrative boards, as well as state and federal courts, in enforcement actions and environmental litigation. His experience includes defending RCRA and Clean Water Act citizen suits, responding to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state agency enforcement, handling NPDES permit appeals, and counseling water and wastewater utilities on Safe Drinking Water Act and Lead and Copper Rule compliance.
